Actor Ishaan Singh Manhaas, currently seen in Dil Ko Tumse Pyaar Hua, is renowned for his dedication to fitness and maintaining a balanced lifestyle despite the hectic demands of an actor’s life. For Ishaan, fitness is more than a routine—it’s a way of life.
“I always find time to hit the gym, no matter how packed my schedule is,” he shares. On days when gym visits aren’t possible, he improvises with push-ups and free-weight exercises in his room during shoots. Despite enjoying the convenience of at-home workouts, Ishaan admits he prefers the gym. “I’m more of a gym person because I love lifting heavy weights, which is not feasible with home workouts. If I finish work early, I make it a point to go to the gym. But when I’m traveling or extremely busy, free-weight exercises help me maintain my muscles.”
Complementing his workout routine is a disciplined diet. Ishaan steers clear of refined flour, fried foods, and sugary treats most days. “I’m strict about my diet, but I allow myself to indulge once or twice a week with treats like pizza, burgers, chocolates, or cakes. Most of the time, I avoid oily and sugary foods to stay in shape.”
For Ishaan, fitness is not just about aesthetics; it’s about overall well-being. “Working out boosts my energy levels, improves health, increases stamina, and strengthens the heart. A fit body leads to a fit mind, enhancing not just your personality but also your outlook,” he says.
Sheezan Khan: Proper routine and meaningful eating can go a long way
In the competitive entertainment industry, where appearance matters, Ishaan takes the pressure to stay fit in stride. “Our industry demands that we look good and stay fit. It’s just as important as delivering a great performance. I see it as part of the job, not a burden.”
His biggest motivation comes from his on-screen presence. “As an actor, I need to look my best on screen, and that drives me to follow a strict diet and find time for workouts. Proper sleep is also key to staying energized and fit.”
Ishaan’s fitness mantra is simple yet effective: focus on a balanced diet, avoiding junk food, fried or oily items, and refined flour, and aim for 7-8 hours of sleep every night to ensure proper rest and recovery.
By prioritizing fitness as a lifestyle, Ishaan continues to inspire with his commitment to health, proving that balance is achievable even in the busiest of professions.
