In a significant step toward accelerating India’s artificial intelligence ambitions, Tiger Analytics, a global leader in AI and advanced analytics consulting, has signed a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bihar at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, organised by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. The agreement paves the way for establishing one of India’s largest Artificial Intelligence Centres of Excellence (AI CoE) in Bihar — a move poised to redefine the state’s innovation landscape.
The proposed Mega AI Centre of Excellence represents more than infrastructure; it signals the creation of a self-sustaining AI ecosystem built on research, talent development and real-world deployment. Developed in collaboration with IIT Patna as the knowledge partner, alongside a consortium of ecosystem stakeholders, the Centre will serve as a dynamic hub for AI research, digital infrastructure, citizen-centric services and large-scale upskilling initiatives.

The Centre will also undertake applied research aligned with the state’s development priorities and develop scalable, responsible AI solutions to strengthen governance and public systems.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Dr. Mahesh Kumar, CEO and Founder of Tiger Analytics, described Bihar as a land of deep intellectual heritage ready to embrace AI-led transformation. He emphasised that the collaboration aims to build enduring capabilities in research, talent and deployment, ensuring AI becomes a genuine engine of progress for the state and a replicable model for the nation.
