Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering the growth and development of hockey by becoming the Title Sponsor of the Hockey India League for the next three seasons, starting in 2024-25. This strategic partnership between Hero MotoCorp and the Hockey India League is aimed at revitalizing one of India’s most beloved sports, broadening its appeal, and providing a robust platform for nurturing emerging talent.
The league, commencing on December 28, 2024, will showcase eight men’s teams and, for the first time, four women’s teams. The launch of the Women’s Hockey India League marks a groundbreaking moment in Indian hockey, highlighting a significant advancement in promoting women’s participation and empowerment in sports.
