After two segments of Vikrant Rai Bike & Bollywood, All Things Men is presenting third and final part of actor Vikrant Rai’s Travel Diaries. Enjoy!
9: ATM: Inspite of being busy with your acting schedules, how did you manage to take out time for your trip?
VR: Well as I said earlier, my trips are always well planned. They are either after I finish shooting for a particular project or it’s just before something is about to start. We as a couple have decided one thing for our life, no matter how busy we are we will never quit having our own adventures. We don’t wish to reach a point in our life where it’s the same old story of routines. I wish & encourage people to take time out for their body and soul. Travelling & exploring new places gives meaning to your life & enriches your soul.
10: ATM: Trips like these tend to leave a mark on the person. How do you think this journey has changed you?
VR: Change is constant. I would not call it change, I would say we have evolved out of every adventure we undertook. Looking back we both think of so many amazing moments, scary moments, beautiful moments & what not during these journeys in a short span of 4 years. Life is an excellent teacher. The more we explore and meet new people, the more we learn. Our adventurous life has strengthened the bond between us as a couple. It has grown the love & respect for each other. We have become more resilient when it comes to facing any challenge. Together we have come out of so many things that now we feel this too shall pass and we will survive. Not only will we survive, but we will do well in our lives. That’s what adventure does to you. It makes you more strong and positive within. It opens your eyes to the vast world beyond your comfort zone, which is laying out there for us to explore.
11: ATM: What is your favourite travel film?
VR: There are some movies which ignite the passion of adventure in me whenever I watch them, but they are mostly from Hollywood. Easy Rider (1969), Seven Years in Tibet (1997), The Mummy (1999), The Beach(2000), The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), In to the wild (2007), The Bucket List (2007), The Hobbit series and Lord of the rings series to name a few but there are many I have seen & loved and there are many I am yet to see.
12: ATM: How can fans get to know more about your travel experiences?
VR: My social media profile is open to all. Fans can connect with me on Facebook and on Instagram as well. My travel and adventure updates are quite regular. Vikrantraiofficial is my Instagram ID. Also if anybody wishes to see and enjoy our adventure stories they can subscribe to my YouTube channel Bike&Bollywood. It’s a unique channel consisting of my movie scenes and adventure videos.
